When Tumblr first started, you used to be able to vote for your favorite blog once a week. The more votes, views, followers you had, the more tumblarity you got. And the more tumblarity, the higher chance you would be featured on the blogs page or whatever.
I think that’s what it was called at least.
It was like some weird as shit prestige thing.
